Site is slow for me. Gonna have to check it out but I'm not sure what it will offer over something like Dashwire.

edIt: and why did they rename it to something rhyming with "iPhone"?! Skybox was cool!

looks like i was too slow....does anyone know if this will sync with Outlook on the pc also?

I doubt it will sync with outlook, as that would basically be a free exchange server that is MS hosted.

Doubt they would give that away.

i just got my email with the link to sign in and download.

To install with your phone's web browser, go to https://myphone.microsoft.com/install.

installed and signing in to test as i type this. says it will sync almost everything on my phone. contacts, calendar, tasks, pictures, texts... and more.

i use a mail2web email account and i am not sure as of yet but looks like i can not use them both in conjuction. if this is the case then i am not as happy as i was 5min ago.

ok... either "exchange" syncs contacts, calendar, and tasks or "My Phone" does. you can pick one or the other. "My Phone" still syncs the rest (documents, pics, etc. will even sync items from your storage card. the storage card option does not let you select individual types of data though, which is a serious drawback. i want to sync my photos from my storage card but not my music. at this time there is no way to select one and not the other.

Has anyone been using the My Phone service? Does the software significantly slow your phone down? Any opinions?
