I FOUND A ROM FOR MOTO Q WM 6.1!!!

Actually, some other guys found it in a Chinese site and are sharing it on this forum:

The thing is... they are trying to cook it for another phone, not the Q. So I figured if I'd share it with someone that's actually interested and trying to install it on a Q.

So.. don't know if this works with Q9... but hopefully this is a major step for humanity :mrgreen:

looks like it is difficult to flash on the q9c....with the applications I have I can wait for the real release....had something else good to say but I forgot

I mus be missing something, you guys haven't done this have you? I guess I am not that anxious to potentially spend easily 15-20 min restoring everything back onto my phone. I am weary of people asking for like a step by step, its like they are trying to get me for piracy or something if I spell it out for someone you know....or they just are lazy or shouldn't be treading down that path anyway

well.. sorry guys. I couldn't handle the pressure so I switched from Q9C to the Touch. I have been flasing WM6.1 for a while and there isn't much difference. A little faster and threaded SMS are the major benefits. My guess is you'd get a new Today screen for the smartphone as opposed to the PocketPC version.

Took me about 20 min to download and update. Pretty much all that you've read about so far. You have to reload all of your setting and programs, but at least we've got threaded SMS!
