Any dc car charger from Sprint will work. Dc car chargers from outside sources may be an issue. You didn't say what you got.....

Re: Charging in the car

It's the original charger from the phone box. When I plug it in it charges while on the usb mode but won't play the radio. It comes back as a read error and shuts off.

Thanx

I must admit, I'm confused. You said in your first post, you got a car charger cord, and your post title says "Charging in the car"

Your next post says you are using the original charger from the phone box. The box did not contain a car charger.
Are you trying to use the USB cord from the box and charge it from your computer? Or using the USB cord with some dc adapter in your car?.....

Sorry dude,
It's the usb charger cord from the original box, it plugs in to my usb port in my car. When i plug it in it'll charge for about ten seconds then an error message comes up on my radio screen. I can't play the radio when it's charging or trying to charge either. My last phone htc hero had no ptoblems at all which leads me to believe that it's the phone or a setting of some kind (either way I can't use it to charge )

Thanx for your input. :withstupid:

It's probably the USB cable and how the USB port in your radio is wired. The USB cable from the box is not wired for audio. It may be putting your car radio in auxilary mode.

If you try another USB cable wired for audio, it may not charge your MoPho.

Best thing to do, is get a car charger from Sprint if you want charge the MoPho in your car.....

Wonderful advice....near thought that it could be the usb cable. The previous usb cable, I'd purchased at radio shack. Thanks so much for your input. :headbang:
