I just upgraded from the HTC touch pro 2 to the motorola photon. Although the photon is a much superior phone on many levels it lacks a good home screen. One that has the time, date, weather, alarms and upcoming appointments all in one place like the Sprint HTC touch pro 2 did. Has anyone seen a widget that can do this.

Beautiful Widgets is what I use. It's really nice.

I just moved today from the evo to the phonton and I miss sense.

I had the og evo and the 3d for about 3 weeks and I never used sense. HTC sense is bloat IMO. I respect that you like it but have you tried launcher pro? That's probably the best IMO.

+1, love it and it looks like sense but much lighter.
lp is just launcher not really what op is looking for.

There are a ton of launchers out there...just search on You Tube and you can watch them in action...I like Launcher Pro and ACW EX...

I use fancy widgets for the clock and weather (has animated weather if you open it up and several free fonts and weather arts to choose from).

For the calender I use smooth calender widget. I have an agenda of 3 items take a 4X1 space on my home screen and launches straight to my calender if i click on it. There is another one that used pictures I likes alot but every time i clicked on it I would get a prompt to go to the calender instead of having the option to just go there.

The dialer is close to sense (looks better IMHO) but wish they would allow you to just click on the name (if its the first one) and dial it instead of just populating it then having to push dial.
