process: com.android.email stopped, force quit.

Motorola Droid running Android 2.0 - when I launch my corporate email app (it does open) and I try to access any message in my mailbox, I get an error that the email service has stopped and that I must force close the application. I've had my Droid for about 3 weeks and this has never happened before. Nothing has changed either on my handset or in our corporate email environment. Coincidentally, about 2 weeks ago, I downloaded the Touchdown app from the Android Market and it has been working perfectly; opens anything I need from my corporate account without any problems. Can anyone help me figure out why this process: com.android.email stops and forces the app to quit every time I try to open an item in my mailbox? Thanks

It sounds like a bug in the Touchdown app to me, but I dont know for sure because I dont use the email as intensively as you do. Try sending an email to the developer of Touchdown and see if there's anything he can do about the issue.
