Wallpaper question

So i caved and got the Droid finally letting go of my htc tp. So far the phone is great has some minor issues that im tryin to work out but the one thing that really bugs me is the wallpapers. I hate the fact that the wallpaper scrolls with the menus](*,). It makes it very tough to get good wallpapers due to the size. Is there anyway or any apps that will allow you to keep the wallpaper stationary while the menus scroll or am i just screwed on this. I personally think this is a major design flaw with the phone

It's actually really nice, once you get used to it. Yeah i was mad I couldn't use all my nice wide screen computer wallpapers, but if you look around there's a million 956x860 res wallpapers made all ready. Check out some of those you should find one you like. You can also crop pictues for your background, but still the dimension ration stays the same so somethings just don't fit.

Well my home screen is really the only one im worried about, for now i have made a template on photoshop to add a black bar to each side of the picture and crop my main pic at 854hx480w. It works for now but i still fell this was a major oversight on the phone. To me it just makes no sense to have the background scroll.

It's makes the screen flow more dynamically, basically just eye candy, but isn't every aesthetic upgrade now and days for eye candy. There's probably an apt to fix it, if not a settings option tho.
