Excuse the obviously dumb question, but I have been an HTC/WinMo guy but my company is starting to go with the Droid for many people.

What are the best sites for Android OS, mods apps etc?

Thats a cool *** company, I'd give my work issued BB Bold in a heartbeat for that.

My App recommendations are:

i Music Tao
Last.Fm
Google Voice
Layar
Shopsavvy
SportsTap
Where
NewsRob (If you use Google Reader)

I'm not big on phone games (PSP Owner) but Bonsai Blast, Sims 3, Tetris, Craig's Race & Hyperspace are my personal favorites.

Doom, Quake II & Emulators are there too.

What forums are best for tinkering with Andorid?
PPC seems ok, but looking for something like XDA for Android.

search the apps market for whatever you want. What ever you need put in a search and see what it offers. I do it and something new seems to come up daily. Be careful though new users, myself included seem to bog down the phone as its easy to download tons of apps .lol. Not too much modded on the phone yet as it is new. It will soon take place though.\
