Stupid Question about default image
 

Here's the low down. I have been playing with Cyanogenmod for awhile now. I recently found out about Dark Edge. I have been playing with these two elements for about a week. I constantly have to Delete Date and Cache and start fresh. This includes trying to change the kernel for overclocking my CPU. The only thing is every time I Delete Data and Cache, I start over. Not over over, for instance Rom Manager is still installed (very old version) and my wireless is remembered. Is there anything I can do while in my testing phase to have the latest Rom Manager, Set CPU, Astro File Manager all installed when my phone comes up?
