How can I get IGO8 to run on my droid eris
 

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum as well as new to the droid eris... I love IGO8 and I have it in my wife's car... I know that IGO8 works on the droid eris because I've seen it on youtube, but I can't seem to get it to work on mine, if there is anyone that can help me it would be greatly appreciated...

What BW said. Also, you may have seen a vid of a rooted Eris running it on 2.1. You may have better luck after you get the OTA to 2.1 that is coming soon.

Sorry for being in the wrong thread. You both are probably right, like I said I just got my eris and I'm very new to the whole smart phone thing ( yes I'm a newbie ) and didn't even know you could do what you guys do to these phones. I'm completly WOW'ED by what I've been reading and completly facinated with all of it... Thanks for your answers... I will try to post in the proper thread...

Not until the 2.1 update. Stock anyway.
