2.1 has super slow youtube??
 

So after I finally made the jump from stock ota 2.1, back to 2.01, then rooted and installed Smoked Glass and OC'd to 1.1Ghz, I found that watching Youtube video's in the youtube app is terribly slow. It takes many minutes for any video to show at all, and on HQ, its almost impossible to watch as it loads about a twentieth of the video then stops streaming, plays the video, stops the video, then resumes downloading another twentieth.

I did a bunch of Googleing and found only a few threads about this happening on a different phone on the Sprint network, it was actually a very easy fix for them.

I guess its also possible that its an issue with Smoked Glass, so i'm just wondering if anyone's heard of this. It's also totally possible i'm an idiot and this is a known issue that i failed to see somewhere.

This is a reported issue with the 2.1 update. I haven't read about a fix as of yet.
