Agreed. Ya they got pissy with each other and essentially made DMUpdater useless, but they quickly released SMUpdater. Plus, like they said, it was a donation, you could have went and got DMUpdater for free from their site at any time.

I don't necessarily like the way the Sholes team works but they still deserve to be treated well.

IMO chargebacks arent the way to go. Droidmod never once said you were paying for there service or did they say they would hold your hand through anything. All they were saying was that if you like are work please help and donate to the cause becuase it takes time and money out of the programers pocket to make the product. they also said they we would gladly refund any donation. I for one did donate and accidently did it twice a hour later i had email telling me they refunded one of my $5 payments. even though i dont us DM anymore i would never even think of taking money out of there pockets becuase of the simple fact they havent done anything latley. to be honest i used there rom up until just a week ago so im pretty sure i got my 5 dollars worth if that was the case, I never mind donating some money to some cause that helped me in anyway.

That's how I feel too. I actually still do use DM and I paid the $5 when it was SM. Even if I didn't use the roms I still would use the auto-rooter. I have use it so far on 4 devices. To me, it was well worth a mesely $5 donation. Heck, I would've been fine with a $10-$15 cost.

I don't use DM anymore, I'm on CM now (and yes I bought the Rom Manager). However if I ever have to sbf my phone back to stock, I know that the FIRST thing I'll do is grab DMUpdater to root/recover my phone. It just makes it so easy. Then I'll install RM to put clockwork and a rom on it :P
