What you want to see with Droid 2
 

I posting this to see what other deficiency others feel that the droid has and would like to see fixed in the 2.0 droid. Here is my list, (I'm going to include a few android OS issues as well)

1 - Keyboard, (of course) I did get use to it, I still screw up typing on it, But I love it.

2- Heavy hitter, I do like the solid feel of the phone and it doesn't bother me that much but little lighter would be nice off my belt

3- Camera, A little faster and a little clearer please.

4- CPU speed, Although its zippy as a 550, boy o boy that 1Ghz snap dragon is a geeks dream.

5- Copy function a little more available and a little more easier then shift drag on the keyboard.

6- Bluetooth Voice dialing, would be nice in the car

7- Spell checking, email, sms

8- Lastly memory, I want Gigabytes available built in and micro sd for app developers to develop even better programs and games.

Bigger screen, faster processor and more spacing on the keyboard. I am thinking of something like the HD2 running android with a keyboard.

LOL that HD2 is monster, can it even fit in a pocket? As i already killed one droid by cracking its screens, boy I'd been scared carting that think around ](*,)

I could get it into mine! :mrgreen:

It would give a little more room to space out the keyboard. If I wanted a little phone, I would have got the Eris.

At a minimum, I want landscape phone calls and automatic speaker phone when car-docked. The fact that Motorola sells a car-dock and the phone doesn't automatically go into speaker phone mode or landscape for in-call is inexcusable. It would be great if those flaws were fixed and an FM transmitter was standard so you could stream audio or do phone calls over FM radio. I wish I were on the development team!

In my opinion, i would....

1. Kill the keyboard, it was one of the reasons i got it, and maybe used it once. It would also make it thinner.

2. VIDEO OUT!!!!! Please dear god!!!!

3. Bluetooth dialing

4. 2 memory slots, maybe 1 large internal, expandable secondary.

The performance of the Droid would be waaaaay better if there was more RAM available. I notice that as long as there's a decent amount free it runs perfect, but once the memory starts to go down then it slows down a lot and becomes very laggy. If it just had twice as much RAM it would be super quick all the time.
