tethering question
 

My friend is considering a Droid, and he wants to tether it for use as his primary internet connection since there's no broadband providers in his area. I have a TP2, and when I use Wifi Router or the internet sharing application it shows up on my bill as part of my unlimited data plan. Is the same true of the Droid? Or is it flagged as something else?

There's still no official tethering plan for the droid from verizon as far as I know. People using the tethering apps for droid are not being billed extra.

Of course if you use over 5gigs in a month your account may get flagged for review and they may determine that the account was used inappropriately. Although I have not yet heard of an instance where this happened.

Great; thanks! I've used more than 10GB one month and nothing happened; not saying it never happens but... ;)
