Just a Thought??
 

Recently, I've been developing apps for android, and I'm writing this post for two reasons...

One, does anyone have any guides/links other than the google guide to help further my knowledge in droid development? (I am familiar with Java already... It'd just be nice to see a bunch of OSS apps for it as I learn best from examples)

And two, has anyone thought about porting winmo over to the droid? Or has there been any one who's attempted it?

Can't help to much with the first question but the second one I have seen talked about before. From what I have seen and read it has not been done yet because WM is not an open source platform so the chance of a cease and desist is very likely. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was working on it though.

I would, especially when winmo 6.x is soon to be obsolete when 7 comes out, the devs may want to wait to port wm till 7 comes out and they can port it to phones like the nexus or desire and dual/boot. I doubt anyone is actively working on porting wm6.x to android.

why would they want you to cluttler something as smooth running as android to winmo when 7 comes out you knows its gonna have bugs so i would say its going to be a long time before this is possible
