Media Dock Skin

I have searched and can not find anything on this. Is there a way to change the display skin when the Droid is in the media dock.
I have been using it as my alarm clock since i got it, in night mode the clock blends into the background, and in day mode its just too bright.
Any help would be great.

Thanks for any help, i have seen some skins on forums but no info on how to actually change anything.

I too would love to be able to change this skin. The purple /blue gets old after looking at it for 8 hours a day 5 days a week.

you gotta be rooted, have MM, and busybox.

the rom im running has the 2.1 dock, so i cant use em. :(
