Multitouch on 2.1?

I have a rooted droid running the nexus one nandroid image, and I've seen the sholes rom with the multitouch browser, is there a way I can bring multitouch to this rom. Can I use cynagen's method for nexus one?

Several items for multi touch have been ported over on alldroid.com. Look in the Droid development forum.
