Sliderscreen Home replacement app.

http://slidescreenhome.com/

Market location:http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?c...bs.slidescreen

Just starting to play with it now. I'll post a full review shortly.

Very polished.

EDIT: OK so it is what it is. The free app has an advertisement on the bottom of your homescreen all the time which is a huge no-no for me. I don't mind this in an app that's free and running some of the time, but to always have advertisements on the homescreen is just bad form.

I think the idea is for a power user who gets a very large amount of emails/texts/mms/phonecalls a day. It seems to lay out these services as a primary function and they consume half the screen while idle.

Basically this is an informational powerhouse, but lacks any real customizability. I'd probably be more interested in it if it were a stand alone app rather than a home screen replacement.

I uninstalled/deleted it.

It does look pretty nice and organized but you're right the advertisment kills it. It reminds me of windows titanium

That's what I thought when I started seeing the articles about it. Been playing with it a little bit (free version) and while the add is a bummer you can get the pro version which is $6.99.

Should be very interesting when they add the ability to use other email sources besides Gmail and add support for exchange. I might actually consider buying it then. :)

You can use it as that already. :) That was how I started playing with it.

Very cool app, I really like the direction this is headed in. I'd give it a couple major updates before I'd be willing to pay for it, but at least it's something fresh and potentially very useful. Thanks for the tip!

Was thinking about this a bit at work... and it struck me that I would REALLY like it and might even pay for it, if it were a lockscreen.
