No Progress SlingPlayer for Android?

About the only thing I still miss from my WinMo devices is SlingPlayer. I was sure hoping for a possible announcement at CES but no. It probably will not help but Sling has a customer feedback forum where you can vote for enhancement ideas so I voted. They give you 7 votes that you can spread across multiple ideas with 3 votes max per idea. For good or bad there are at least 3 duplicate ideas for Droid support so I spread mine 3-3-1 and hope that somebody there is smart enough to add all those votes into one.

Like I said it may be wasted effort but, like they say in politics, don't complain if you don't vote.

I am so with you here. I really miss the video capabilities of WinMo. I used WM for a long time and got used to the fact I had my tivo and hulu and... with me at all times. I just keep telling myself to be patient. Made my votes as well.

I believe once the new Flash comes out we will be able to watch SlingPlayer that way. There is a thread around here somewhere about it...
