Features, apps & widgets we'd like to see.....
 

I for one would like to see this phone work like my old Apache in that it announced the inbound caller by name OR number in the bluetooth headset. I could also touch the button on the headset and access the voice dialer....it would ask me if I wanted to dial the number it found and then dial it with a positive verbal response. True hands free operation.

Voice dialing through the headset would be a nice addition. I would also like to see better camera software come out for it and Flash for the browser. Other than that it does everything I want it to do.

Android should allow any type of file to be downloaded from both the browser AND the email app. I know there are workarounds for downloading files from a browser, but I haven't seen a way to download attachments from the Gmail app that aren't jpegs. This should have been in Android from the very first version!

I know that Download Crutch works as far as the browser but no idea how to download any file from Gmail

All I really want would be a music player with features like EQ and a nice interface. Basically, NemoPlayer design, AudioPlayer equalizer, and Stock Music Player scrolling speed.

+1 for the attachment download support in Gmail. Thats the stupidest thing I have ever seen, to not have implemented.

I would like to see download support in Gmail as well. I would also like to see the ability to copy/edit text in emails. I can't stand the fact that you can't edit a message that is forwarded or replied.

-I would like to see upload support in the stock browser or dolphin. It's absent due to the lack of an integrated file manager. Aftermarket browsers need to include a file manager for this functionality. Only opera so far.
