Screen wakeup with Handcent SMS
 

I started using handcent sms and love it. I have one question though. After installing this app, my phone started waking up when I get a new SMS. I might be wrong, but I don't think it did this with the native messaging. Does anyone know if there is a way to change this? Handcent has many settings and I might have overlooked this. I hated this with my TP2, but since the Droid has a capacitive screen, it's not that big of a deal since I can't pocket dial someone.

Open Handcent then press menu>settings>Pop up settings, then uncheck screen on for popups. This will keep your screen from turning on when the popup comes up.
