temp on my clock is stuck??

Everything was working fine until this morning.

I went to work, my flip clock updated the location & temp just fine but now my temp is stuck at 68 degrees (it is 86 now) & NOTHING I have tried will update it:

My location is working fine etc, does anybody know how to fix this??

What's up John!!!
My TP2 also appears to be stuck at Sunny and 76 most of the time... But I think my isssue is based on the fact that I live in San Diego. LOL.
Sorry I didn't help any. Just couldn't resist.

LOL, good one AZTECA.....

This is really no big deal as the WeatherBug Elite under the clock works fine, but it is puzzling as it was working fine for the last week.

I'm wondering if the server where the clock gets the temp from is not working right.

Yeah... Sorry bro... I wish I could help. I wouldn't know the slightest about the EVO.
I wouldn't even know if a soft reset would help.

Well, it's not an EVO it's a DroidX ;-)

I tried soft resetting (& removing the battery) but it won't budge off 68 degrees.

Oh... Sorry... Yeah.. I read on sprintusers that some of the Evos were having similar issues. But it seemed as though pulling the battery resolved the issue.
That's strange.
It would drive me to a hard reset if that happened to my TP2.
lol.

have you tried dumping the widget and replacing it back on your homescreen?
or completely unistalling/ reinstalling?

I have tried dumping it & replacing it (about 8 times) & it didn't make any difference.

The weird thing is, I have about 4 different clock/weather widgets like this (see the screen shot thread) & they are ALL stuck at 68 degrees!!

Everyone of them worked fine until this morning...

I just noticed the weather channel app I have installed says "weather unavailable".

Another thing, the weather icon & my location are working just fine. The clock showed the sun or partly cloudy icon & now it switched to clear. The actual temp readout is the ONLY thing not working right.

Mine too. I'm a vibrant user but have been stuck on 68degrees also.... I've had this same widget for ages now all the sudden nit working. I even updated the app to a newer version and nothing. .

Same here, I updated it yesterday & it made no difference at all.

I tried switching to the "beautiful Widget" setup & it showed 68 degrees also.

I guess I'll just stick to leaving the weather bug on the home screen under the clock for now (it's more accurate anyway)

Re: temp on my clock is stuck??

I didn't notice it at first but my temp is stuck too...
I did some digging, and evidently there is a problem with googles weather servers.

From the dev of Beautiful widgets' twitter:

"I am working right now on including the new weather feed. It's a long work and does not work the same, we have to search for the city first "

"Lot of progress made on Beautiful Widgets with the new weather provider. hopefully a release tomorrow, and that is if I get a feed bug fixed"
