Is there any way to transfer a call to another number with out conference calling? In other words

L1 calls L2
L2 calls L3
L2 mergers calls and hangs up leaving L1 and L3 to talk

Thanks for the help

Re: call transfer

think conference calls is only way to manually do this

you could use the call forwarding setting on sprint to just forward it automatically, or use a google voice number

are you trying to be an operator where people call into you then you transfer them?

yeah we have a GV that rings 2 phones. If I miss the call i want my secretary to transfer the call back to me, instead of telling the customer to call back.

Switching phones during an incoming call - Google Voice Help

Switching phones during an incoming call

To switch phones in the middle of an incoming call you must first enable the call switch feature. To enable it, simply:
  1. Click the gear icon and select Settings.
  2. Click the Calls tab.
  3. Select the checkbox next to Call Options.
Once you've enabled it you can use it by pressing * while you're talking, and your other phones will ring. Then, for example, you can pick up the call from your mobile phone (if you're about to head out), or from your desk. There are no passcodes or PINs to enter and, best of all, your caller won't even hear the switch.
