PS. If you didn't see the Upgrades post, there is an OTA patch that came out this weekend to help with battery life and some other minor fixes.

Battery Saver Tip #1
 

Droid2 Global is by default set to Auto select between GSM and CDMA.
This will drain the battery quicker.

Go to settings, Wireless and Networks, Mobile Networks, Network Mode and change the setting to CDMA to get more Battery life.

Definitly turn off other radio componentsn(GPS, WiFi) to extend even more.
