It's been almost a year since I set it up. There have been some complications for others who have tried. I don't want to suggest that you try it, unless you are desperate, have extra money, or are willing to MAKE it work somehow.
Anyway, I did it that way, knowing that when Verizon got their Touch Pros in, they would be short on memory. So yeah, I never had Sprint, paid full price for the phone and had it running on the Verizon network before they even carried the phone themselves.
