I guess GBX0C? There's not a ton of choice - FRX07.1 if FroYo, GBX0C is Gingerbread, and NAND has a couple of Gingerbread options (OMGB and CM7.2). Pick your poison, they all have pros and cons. Everyone's needs are different. Never used Instagram, so I can't help there. You know these aren't Android devices, so you can't expect a flawless Android experience.

It's pretty good tho, assuming you keep that in mind.

How are you? I want to take the dive into android on tp2 is there a stable one u can recommend for everyday use from a 12 & 15 yr old, as well as myself, one with mms working as well as Instagram? Or & do I have to flash to install? i have 2 tp flashed & 2 that's not

I don't want to upgrade to a newer phone because I am on an old employee plan at an unbeatable price and I am a struggling nursing student! I was hoping to get android down loaded for some of the medical apps!

Would I be able to get someone to help me download Android on my HTC touch pro 2, I will pay. I have been trying with no luck and really thinking about getting rid of it but want to give android a shot. Most all of the postings I see are from last year is there any newer versions out there? It should work the same whether it's FRX or GBX.

Ok, boot troubles solved. I'm not Sprint, I'm on Movilnet (Venezuela). I certainly don't know how to md5sum. So will use GetLog

Different topic, I'm having troubles booting FRX07.1, should this theoretically work on GBX0B? Because it took way too long and still doesn't even show the animation

You shouldn't need an APN, are you on Sprint?

Make sure you're booting with the updated RIL. You can verify in the logs (hopefully) or thru md5sum (definitely).

Ok, double bad then xD. Right now I'm retrying those instructions again. Just to make sure. I'll first boot FR07.1 right now with the updated RIL. This should have my 3g working just fine, or I'm missing some steps? Like APN messy things
