Hi Yash,

Sprint's version of Touch Pro2 is not locked for networks outside US. In india, i have just put the airtel sim and it worked.

addiionally i changed the settings for global smart dialing as mentioned in the post.

I am also planning to go to India by the end of this month(With ref to your post in http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=130027 trip to Japan). I was wondering did you unlock you phone prior to going to India? or just popped the SIM card there and it started working?
If you unlocked your phone, can you please share the process with me. I appreciate if you could share your wisdom with me.
