Lol! I never went overseas when I was in the Navy but my ex did and he was originally from New York and did 2 six month tours over in Bahrain. When he first came to Az he said just about what you just said lol! I personally can't imagine anything hotter than Az! The first time he was here was in may too I believe and we went to the lake with my friends before heading to San Diego where we both going to be posted. I tried to warn him to wear sunscreen but he insisted on using oil instead...told me he used to catch rays on the deck of his destroyer...*shaking head * dude have u ever seen someone feet get so sunburned that they turn almost purple? It was ugly I tell you! Needless to say he was miserable and could barely stand to wear his boots or clothes...damn stubborn fool lol!
