are you tired of touchflo 3d 2.0 port? To be honest while innovative as it is, there are somethings xboxmod couldn't fix and he said a new port would come. And circumstances beyond his control meant he couldnt complete the port, but that doesn't mean others didn't stop with porting

August 5, 2009 is the anticipated date of the new rhodium manila 2.1 port

I should have the beta packages for the VGA ported Manila 2.5 in the next day or two. I can't share them until the developer muttim86 decides that they are ready for release, but I will be able to put out a custom rom for testing purposes. Stay tuned to ED/TP for the upcoming CDMA rom with Manila 2.5.

I didn't compile anything. The developer agreed to share them with me, so that I can release a CDMA rom for testing, and help further development of the port.

Might need to de-compile 2e74e665_manila to fix the CDMA no-sim SMS bug (assuming it works like 2.0 and 2.1) :).

been running 2.1 in the energy rom pretty heavily last night and this morning. 2.1 fixed a lot of annoying little bugs and imp seems a tad quicker as well. its a good appetizer till i get my tp2 hahaha!

one unique bug fixed is in the manila sms menu you would hav eto automatically select the text window before typing out the sms in the previous manila 2.0. Now all I have to do is just start typing and it automatically enters the text box
more importantly there is no texting lag whatsoever in the manila sms menu! that is great!

Yea well we knew that, but the new port did have some things fixed and perfected(although has a few quirks too) I know I like to try new things!

Are you going to come out with a build with it in it's state now? CDMA or just GSM?

More pics Groove! Lol, but was wondering with the home screen when you hide the clock, how many slots for shortcuts? It kinda looks like only 9, unless you can scroll to get more shortcuts, that would be sweet.

Yeah I been seen that. I even tried the first beta ROM on a friend of mines Fuze, and for some reason I couldn't get the home screen clock to hide to check out the shortcuts, but just wondering if everything will still be the same for us CDMA users

cant wait to try 2.5 on my cdma tp. hope u can pursuade that italian chef to release the oems/cabs/packages soon :) i wanna get them in the hands of my favorite chef...psyki

I will release a very basic build in the next few days for CDMA Diamond only. JMZ has the files too, and will likely release a CDMA TP ROM.

I'll try to get more pics soon, but now the priority is testing and tweaking. Right now, only 9 slots for shortcuts, but actually only 6 because the bottom 3 are hidden by the bottom curtain.

The port still needs some work, and he's not gonna make the packages public until it's more stable. Like I sadi, JMZ should have a TP rom soon. They will be supported at ED/TP.

Right now, most of the tabs work well. Some issues in the contacts tab, footprints tab doesn't work yet -- but it sounds like it is close. Minor issue with the internet tab.

Muttim86 sent me his entire kitchen which has many Leo packages ported to VGA as well, so some if the Manila stuff may be dependent on some of these packages. I wanna add packages slowly, so that I can try to isolate and deal with issues individually..

I should have a very stripped down alpha ROM for CDMA Diamond with Manila 2.5 up tonight or tomorrow morning at ED/TP. JMZ will have a CDMA TP version soon..

This is the only CDMA TP rom you will find with this Manila version. We have newer packages being converted to VGA now too. Good things to come!
