I installed the update 8 and everything worked fine i must have did something because now it says tap here to start touchflo and it doesnt start any help? i tried to uninstall but it wont.

Yep...You can't open Java, The Music Store or Opera Mini...Which runs off Java...Uninstall The HTC album and Soft Reset...Then it should be fine...There's a conflict between them for sum reason...That is what I did and then it worked fine...

I installed No2Chem's Pre3 ROM for my Sprint Mogul, and then installed Manila2D and all seems ok now except that the Comm Manager won't show. When I tap on it under the settings tab, nothing happens. Is there a reg edit that I can use to make the Manila Comm Manager show up or something to get rid of the default Comm Manager?

Manila comm manager is just a skin from Opal. That skin is for GSM devices. U can install from the update 15 package but i'm telling u. There is no going back. When U uninstall it, The skin is stucked and it's all jumbled up. U have to do a hard reset to get back to ur original. so Yeah, the com manager m2d skin is on the update 16 package with some other stuffs.

it should work on Touch with no problem. unless U have a custom ROM that is conflicting. go to post 3 for some fixes and U can use sktools to uninstall

OK... I must be an idiot. No means a noob, but no means an expert. I've actually never even seen this thread/file. So, I open up... and I LIKEY! I'm currently using the SCLPF_UNO_1-62 cube. But... I HAVE to have this. On my Mogul, I have no cooked roms, just the stock ROM 3.56 and 3.42 radio. I d/l'ed update #18... however, I was expecting some sort of instructions to be included, i.e., what to install first, do I need to hard reset before I do everything, etc, etc, etc....

So my question is, after searching this, where is the instructions for update 18? Do I need to start with a different update? The only instructions I found began with "OX-ManilaCompatibleSharedDLL.cab", yet nothing like this is in update 18. So... that being said... do I need to start with something different, or just d/l the cabs from update 18? And if so... any order? I must be missing something....

As always... thanks in advance to anyone who helps me and I'll "thank" you in the thread as well...

Welcome to the thread brother. I have explained most of ur questions earlier. So I suggest read my conversation with lipidfats starting on post 524 to get an idea how it goes. Update 18 BTW is just components. The main UI (m2d) is not there. U can get the M2D anywhere from update 8 and above. It's pretty much the same file every update. the only thing with the updates are some minor fixes with the components. see post 3 for some fixes for issue u might have after the installation. I hope it work great for u.
