While I agree 100%....I could never get ThrottleLauncher to work right on my mogul. It always froze up or crashed whenever I tried to use Rumball's WP theme. Hopefully with the M2D customizer in the works someone will figure out how to add today plugins to the individual tabs.

Guys tf2d is a OS plugin. U cannot run those weather apps inside it coz there is already built in. U can just manipulate the default image but not run a program in that tab. like ur HTC home. Nobody changed it. U can run another weather app but not inside the HTC home weather tab.

Has anyone found a way to make a short cut on the programs tab for some of the system settings I used to have with the HTChome screen in my Sprint Touch. Mainly the adjust brightness, and a short cut to my video's album (separate from photo album). I figured you could change a reg setting for another short cut but can't find a path to these settings. Thanks

First off, I'd like to say thanks to this whole site & the ppl @ XDA... I have been working in PC's for years now and since getting laid off from Dell I have been doing nothing with myself.. This site has allowed me to have a renewed love of my phone and tweaking it as well, never bothered to think that I have a windows device in my pocket!!!! I have yet to unlock the phone as I worry about having to return it in the future.. YOU GUYS ROCK!!

With all the reg tweaks and adjustments and this new Bell Rom and the touchflo2D I love my phone sooo much!!!!!

as for this question: I was looking for that last night to add the option for landscape mode and found this: HKLM/software/HTCHome/Launcher/#
the keys for the original buttons from the old today screen are found here.. ( I think this is the location, it was 3am when I found it and I am trying to remember it)
HKLM/software/HTC/manila2D/launcher/# is where the new locations are.. but when I tried to copy the keys over and match the current layout it didn't work. (then again I wasn't able to just push the icon on m2D to add a program either, this was why I was looking for the regedit.) I am now reinstalling M2D to see if that will help...

also on a side note.. I was not able to get the newest audio manager to work on my touch.. it kept crashing.. I uninstalled it and kept the original version and that seems to work now ( as for the hanging in M2D I found that opening the audiomgr manually allows it to work in M2D afterward fine) other than that and the known slowness issue (not too bad on mine) this M2D is wicked!!

Ok so afterr the reinstall of M2D I was still not able to click on an empty location under programs and add a new one... I had to reinstall the 2D audio mgr (but this version just crashes on my phone and will not run) with 2D audio mgr installed I am able to click an icon and add a program (still not able to add brightness or landscape) also I can add contacts now.. I don't know why I have to have audiomgr installed to add icons though.

Update: Tried to add the landscape option but it will not work.. I think the brightness and landscape options arre built into the original HTC Home plugin as the reg keys point to PNG files and not programs... Also as stated above, I am not able to add any new programs to the programs list OR add contacts to the contacts page without the 2D audio Mgr installed.. but if I install the audio Mgr it will crash and I cannot use it at all.... wierd

I Love this app a lot have .07 version. Been using it for about 4-5 days with some minor problems that are not THAT important. Today i did a soft reset on my touch and on the WIN 6.1 loading screen, the screen turned white and gave me an error. It said that there is unknown error with the phone press talk button to hard rest. I pressed end key and it brought me back to the main sceen where everything is running fine. I had the same problem couple day ago and did a hard rest and was until today. BUT IS THAT A MAJOR PROBLEM OR DO I IGNORE THE MESSAGE PLEASE HELP.

I've been getting the same thing. If I let it go it will start or I hit the end key, either way it doesn't seem to affect it. BOO

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried that too. I restored my phone to factory settings and then I installed M2D on it and got the same results. Any other suggestions?
