I use ifile as well to do the edits right from the iPad. Works flawlessly. It's just some apps don't once u edit and make it fit. A few that do work is Facebook,beejive..

Google docs has a repository which users have submitted a spreadsheet of which programs works and doesn't. I can see the forums filling up already on tis issue...

yeah that sucks, that game is pretty awesome, hopefully the dev will mod it soon to run in ipad res :D
