Apps
I just jailbroke my phone using blackra1n last night. What are some interesting apps that are available?
|
Re: Apps
There are TONS. Not sure if blackra1n put Cydia on there for you (never used that to jailbreak an iPhone)....but if it is just search through Cydia for all the cool stuff it has.....

Re: Apps
Yes it had the option of cydia, and its the one thing that i have heard of, so i chose that. it also has the options of rock and icy. are these useful?

Re: Apps
Never heard of Rock...with Cydia you won't be using ICY.
But through Cydia, you can download games, don't forget to DL Winterboard, then you can download bunch of themes from Cydia and activate them in Winterboard. Just browse around Cydia by section to see alot of stuff you can download. |
Re: Apps
Install ROCK, in there they have backgrounder, Kiriake, and 3g UNRESTRICTOR for free. Cydia charges for one of those apps, can't remember which.
Backgrounder is to enable multitasking, Kiriake is a super-easy task manager that you need to properly manage the background apps, and 3GU allows me to use apps like Slingbox and the iTunes store without wifi. |
Re: Apps
Right now im using SBsettings as a task manager. I look up those three apps and cydia had all of them for free. It looks as though rock has everything from cydia and a few more, so im going to try it.
thanks matt |

Re: Apps
I don't have ROCK installed. I find usually anything I want/need within Cydia Mod Edit: Link to WAREZ removed.

Re: Apps
Most of the things i have found on rock cost mucho dinero, so rock is gone. Mod Edit: Link to WAREZ removed.

Re: Apps
OK, so I am finally jailbreaking my iPhone. Blackra1n on the Mac makes it VERY easy... Make sure phone is on 3.1.2, run program, wait a minute, done... that easy. Anyway, getting ready to play around with it but wanted to say thanks for info and tips on what progs to get.

Re: Apps
What new apps have people tried out lately?
I recently started using BiteSMS and Intelliscreen. Another app that is cool is unlimtones (something like that). It let you download ringtones directly to the phone free. Phone needs to be jailbroken though, but the app can be gotten from ROCK and I think CYDIA. |
Re: Apps
Hey guys I edited this thread a little bit because a couple of cydia sources were mentioned which just give your pirated apps. Per our forum rules
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/ppcgeeks-rules/ these should remain out of this forum, remember a main reason for no warez on the site is security. I know you guys understand (no matter your personal stand on warez) and I appreciate you guys not providing any cydia or rock sources that are just repositories for pirated apps. Please continue providing awesome apps though (I am always looking for awesome apps). :headbang: |
Re: Apps
Yeah, I noticed there was a couple on here....tsk tsk

Re: Apps
Everyone who has Ipad should download experiences IMO
You can go through a stack of places and pick one. It then gives you incredible pics of that place with all the important info about that city, country, etc :D It's awesome! |
