I am working on a backup program exclusive to the ROM, this will make flashing much less painful. I am hoping to release it after I finish that, shooting for this week or the weekend.

PS: Just a teaser...lots of fixes...NEW packages...including Sense 2.5 2021...:headbang:

"+" dialing doesn't work again in 1.4.0 :(
Rolling back to 1.3.0

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.4.0 [19-Jan-2011]

It works for me. Any U.S, number of the form +1(3-digit area code)<7-digit phone number> gets dialed out correctly. So do international numbers of the form +(country code)<phone number>. Did you turn it off in your registry?

Check values in \HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\PlusCodeDialing
PlusCodeEnable should be 1
PlusCodeNumber should be 011
ResetNumber should be 011

Haven't tried text messages yet but phone numbers are getting through.

Unfortunately I'm not in U.S. :)
And I need to call to numners like "+37...." without adding any 011 e.t.c. Jmart knows this problem....

Hey buddy, hopefully you are still on 1.4.0. If so, please change this value:

HKey_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\PlusC odeDialing
PlusCodeEnable=0

Please report back if that fixes your problem

Aahhh, jmart beat me to it. If you are on a GSM network which natively recognizes plus coded numbers, his suggestion should work. Please report back if it does since I too plan to use the phone when I go home later this year and would like to know if this fix would be sufficient.

I lost sound with mine. I went back to stock and it came back. I was thinking that i was going to have to send this one back and get a replacement. But it all worked out in the end. Thanks

I will be waiting for 1.5.

last night i had a text message that popped up normal in the notification bar and in sense (the little 1 notifier) after reading it the notification went away like normal, but after i replied, it came back and would not go away. this is something that used to happen in earlier roms, but hasnt in a while, definitely not in teya 1.3 or 1.4 before. after i deleted the text the notification finally went away. kinda weird.

also, jmart. do you know if the vmail text notification issue is something that can be fixed in new teya versions, or is it something thats just gunna happen no matter what?

Sry. been away for a while. i was gonna jump to android but since the droid bionic is far away and the teya rom is so smooth im sticking around for a while. Thank u J for making the imagio bearable. lol Ok with 1.5 around the corner here are the things i hope r fixed.

Windows media player crashing and freezing. Esp when going from one file to the next. It seems like it plays the first file fine. But click on a second podcast after the first ones done WMP locks up.

Winmospeed kinda sux. Doest keep my settings ona restart and you have to play with things to get that link it creates into the start menu. Why not cook in Setcpuspeed 1.0d and the nosod fix i posted some time ago instead? they have a setting that is "apply at boot" and it always ticks.. never a sod.. its perfect. no funky links etc...

according to a recent poll 81% of mobile users either use or are interested in visual voicemail. can that be cooked in?

battery percentage meter on top right corner. #'s are accurate but the slidebar underneath is way off. its all the way to the right when charged but drops all the way to the left as soon as 70%.. doesnt gradually lower it self to coincide with the digital #

Any way to save Onenotemobile entrys to sd card? when i flash i lose them..

Every once in a while that happens, usually a bad flash and can be resolved by re-flashing. Sometimes, even a quick soft reset will fix it.

I am pretty sure the ghost message is a product of including both wm and HTC messaging services in one ROM. If people are good with it, I would love to not include wm messaging.
The vmail message is still going to exist, nobody has figured out how to get it to stop in the latest HTC messaging.

1) Windows Media Player is fixed in 1.5.0, as well as a bunch of other fixes.
2) I am a huge fan of WiMoSpeed, when you create the link it adds a .lnk to the WiMoSpeed folder and you can just copy that into your Startup folder. I haven't had any problems with it.
3) I can cook VVM in, but since I can't personally test it, so I can't guarantee that it will function perfectly in 1.5.0.
4) Can you post a pic? I am not quite following
5) I am working on a backup program and I will see about including a oneNote export

1) No prob!
2) After you have created the link using WiMo you:
-Using Total Commander: Navigate to \Program Files\WiMoSpeed
-Select the newly created .lnk (it will have the speed setting in the file name)
-File \ Copy/Move
-Tree
-Navigate to the Windows folder at the very bottom of the list and expand it
-Select Startup
-Select either copy or move
4) The bar actually "drains" toward the right, not the left. It is kind of deceiving, I wasn't the creator, but if I will put it on my list to make changes to it.

Hi, Just installed the Jan 2011 build.

I am facing the following issues:

1. Microsoft Myphone does not connect. I tried with another windows phone - it connects fine.. I can login via the browser as well.

2. I have a wifi network with a hidden SSID. How do I add this? I tried adding using Advanced->NEW .... didn't work.. How can I access the stock wifi manager application? Again, my Touch pro2 connects just fine.

Thanks.....

Myphone works fine with this ROM. However, when I put the ROM in, Myphone does not recognize it. You have to reload your info into the phone; passwords, and user name.

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.4.0 [19-Jan-2011]

hi jmart,

i can see one issue while surfing internet.

Usually we can see incoming call information screen so either we can accept the call or reject etc.,

Now the problem is

if we are surfing in vertical mode i.e. standard mode, then for incoming calls no problem.

but if we are in horizantal mode i.e screen rotated then you for incoming calls, you can hear only ring tone but not incoming call screen. only the way is you have to exit the browser.

want to make sure this is my phone or the rom.
by the way im using PT 1.40

thanks in advance

Project Teya Rocks

i think he was saying the visual voicemail cab stopped the ghost texts that happen when you receive a voicemail with htc messaging, not that the visual voicemail stopped working...

I'm running VVM 1.1.12.9 and I still get phantom text messages whenever I receive a VM and also when I delete one. I'm not sure if that's how VVM functions. Verizon may send an SMS to the app to tell it to download the message. On other ROMs I've used the message would automatically download and the app would open when a new VM was received.

Hello! Many thanks for your work. Of all the firmware just like this for speed has no equal, I think so, but the glitches are also sufficient. Respect to the author. There is one point that you could fix: the Start menu system to connect the default connection Verizon Wireless it does not delete and I tried using the advanced config and disable it via the utility NoData not help it as in the original firmware that is I can create any connections you need me but it still puts the first Verizon Wireless please fix it. For example, in any custom firmware no binding to the operator. Only in the original and you. And one more thing why in the top bar where the signal still shows the globe as if it is connected to the Internet usually such icon when connecting to the internet service provider, and one can see if it does not mean you're not connected if there is then you are in the network fix it too. Best Regards!

Yes that is the case. You are suppose to get that text if you are a VVM subscriber but havent downloaded tha pp. In this case even with the app installed you still recieve the text message.

Dear jmart518 thank you for your efforts. I would like so that 1.5 is even faster, and not inferior in speed does iphone. While you're the only one who drew attention to it thank you for it. I ask, do not forget to remove the default Internet connection from Verizon Wireless and then this crazy connection is not slain. I can not set my custom connection because the default Verizon Connection takes the place of my connection. Edit files and Connection.xml config_operator.txt nothing happens I ask you help me solve this problem. I do not use WiFi but always use the Internet connection from my mobile operator. Help help help me :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :-(

B) Things ALWAYS take longer than we expect
C) You have a life
D) I assume there is a job that steals some of your attention for a portion of most days

Is there a fix for notes not syncing? This is going to be a deal breaker for me.

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.5.0 [13-Feb-2011]

http://i51.tinypic.com/k6fsk.png

Project: Teya [Changelog]
Code:

13-Feb-2011
Fixes:
-Some stability issues
-Bluetooth Stereo
-Incoming call slide to answer
-Twitter Tab landscape
-WiFi Advanced settings
-YouTube
-Windows Media Player
-Microsoft Sharepoint
-Sync improvements, OneNote should now sync with Outlook
-Graphics
-Official HTC Twitter security fix

Changes:
-Many updated packages; Including Manila 2021 and HTC messaging 1.8.2022
-Complete new "Advanced" Hometab and look
-Updated WiMoSpeed to 1.50
-Replaced XDAFacebook with MSFacebook until it is final
-Replaced HTC Keyboard with a CHS Keyboard (Much faster!)

Added:
-Changed Project: Teya [Customizations] to Teya[Portal], due to the many new features, including Teya Backup
-iManager 3D Task Manager
-3G switch now in Comm Manager (For GSM users)
-VZW Visual Voicemail 1.1.12.11
-Ability to toggle CDMA Plus Code dialing on/off, scrollbar thickness, font sizes, HTC Dialer, HTC Menus and Extra Dismiss Times
-Ability to "Mark all as read" from email inbox menu
-File Explorer Extension
-NueBattey2

Please note about Teya 1.5.0:
-I have replaced the standard HTC keyboard with the CHS version and it is a little different. I think most everybody can figure it out though. One important thing is how to change keyboards: you minimize the keyboard the same as before (left side of KB button), but to change you press and hold the KB button on the softbar while the keyboard is minimized and you will get a keyboard menu.
-The backup program included in Teya [Portal] is still new and not perfect. Please report any problems you may have with it.
-A lot of new features are included this time, especially regarding the home tab. Please explore and have fun with it. Just about everything you see is a "click-able" icon and will take you somewhere.
-To get the four day forecast on the weather page of the home tab, just add your city on the weather tab. Or any city you would like to get the forecast for.
-To access 3D task manager, simply press the lower right icon in the softbar. With the exception of the home tab and when the icon has an "X" to close.
