What version of Opera is this using and to the favorites that sync with Microsoft MyPhone show up in the favorites soft key?

I downloaded and unzipped, but the romupdateutility will not run. I get an error "is not a valid win32 application" This was using unRAR.

Using native unzip wouldn't even unzip the romupdateutility

I installed this rom. Everything worked fine except the Today screen. I did not see the Today screen. I cannot do without the WM6.5 Today screen. Is there anyway this can be fixed? I believe you did a great job already even though I have not taken this rom on a test run. I am impressed with the bit I saw. But I need to see WM6.5 running.

Definitely interested in trying this ROM but it will not extract using "Extract All." This time I got a warning there was an error extracting bootloader.exe

Is it my system or a something up with the download?

After trying NRG's and Drell's without good results, even that: Props to them because the great work and efforts. =D>
I have to say: I Found the rom that suits my expectations: StedySoft
It's a pity after flashing r04 I visited the forum and realized you uploaded r05...

I'm using the phone out of US, and the main problem I had with NRG/Drell roms was that my data connection was very unstable, I use MS Datapush on my company's Exchange Server, all the time the data connection stops, or even being connected not chances of receiving data. Other moments my phone line result busy. Every time the data was connected and I make a phone call it stopped/closed the data connection.
This event did not happen with the stock rom and with Stedy.

What I like about Drell is that he offers a Titanium rom, I don't really like Sense / Manilla, I'm an SPB Mobile Shell user so I had to disable Sense on Stedy and I'm done.
The only thing I really like from Manilla is footprints, is there any way to run the software without running manilla, like an stand alone ui?

Skip R05... R06 is up with CHT 1.7 fixes and a new OS base... this one seems to manage memory alot better!!!

Getting a lot of lock ups when adding .cabs . And ArkSwitck needs to go , kind of dominates things. Showcase is a good taskmanager that also shows avalable ROM and memory. Good ROM but not completely stable. Has a lot of good apps.

I'm at r06, I had some problems with r04, but let's talk about the current version.
Until now the only problem I found is that Garmin XT hangs, even with previous version. It's related to screen or something like that. It did worked with NRG on 6.5.5 23554.

I disabled Sens, cause I prefer Mshell, is there any chance of using the sense lock screen? (how)
I can't find backlight controls...I would like to have it to auto...any idea?

It could be because I am running AmeBa in as a process... this auto positions apps for the COM5 OS because of the task and menu bar height changes... I can upload a version that does not include this for you to test... what version of MShell are you running?

While waiting, I did my research about ameba, at first I did not know what you were talking about, ended up at xda downloaded: scarecrow420_AMeBaSettings_v0.3.CAB,
added Garmin to Position Fix and as so far everything looks normal.
But if you release a Non Sense Rom I'll grab it too ;)

What do you recommend for auto back light? SOLVED: MyLight You can enable auto backlight!

Which is the process for the dialer, I'm getting a visual problem, it seems that is smaller than the area for it.

Just wanted to say that I updated to this ROM earlier today, and have been pleasantly surprised with it. Only a few things I have noticed that might make me switch off of this ROM.

- When using HTC messaging, and replying to a text message, the entire screen is shifted up by 20-30 pixels, basically, the height of the slider. Every screen of Sense stays like this until I lock the screen, and then unlock it. I dont know what this is due to....
- Arkswitch STILL hangs on closing File Explorer

other than that, not too shabby

I am using the Sense 2.5 with cookie home tab Rom on my imagio, I LOVE the ROM but the drain the ROM is placing on my battery is incredible, I go from 100% to almost 0% in like 6 hours, anybody have any tricks, tweaks or suggestions to improve battery life?

well, looks like the messaging issue has resolved itself, havent had that issue since yesterday morning.

I am noticing however, that at times, when using HTC messaging, the system just freezes, or slows to a crawl.

Also, CHT Lockscreen seems to have issues with coming out of or going into a lock state. Very random

Love this ROM
 

Been using the ROM for most of the week and LOVE it. The extra functionality of 2.5 is awsome and CHT makes even better. Speed is same as stock 2.0. Battery life is similar to stock.

ArkSoft is a big problem (even with the Ameba service stopped via scarecrow420_AMeBaSettings_v0.3.CAB) so I have been turning off its "enable on boot" setting and rebooting to remove it.

Most everything I usually load is there except Swype and ChangeScreen. Can't live without Swype and I use ChangeScreen to pocket lock the phone.

I am not going to mess with appearance stuff until I decide I am done flashin for awhile so it would be nice if a taskbar and colored icons were cooked in but those are small details.

Overall works great for my needs.

Ok... new release... R07

Fixed all of the "oddity" items such as positioning using AMeBa... New OS seems to behave in the memory management arena... as always... great battery life...

how to stop vibrations on every tap? I disabled all possible "vibrate" settings, yet it vibrates. Also, the sound volume seems to be lower than original stock.

it can DISPLAY pre-defined footprints, but not CREATE new ones. At least it did not work for me. (same for NRG ROM)

I am really liking this ROM but here is the deal. I have to get rid of HTC messaging it is horrible. Does I have researched this problem and have not seen a good way of doing it. Does anyone know.

works fine over here on both ROMs. Only thing I cannot get to work with Footprints is to tag the GPS coordinates. Other than that, no issues!

Really like this ROM. It "feels" a bit more stable. Don't notice much different than r06 except that Activesync (USB) seems to hook up slower and I had to use a different swpe cab than previous. The volume buttons pull up windows volume (edit: this is caused by me instaling tsowens taskbars......) but DaFunk2's cab below fixes that so HTC volume control works again. tried the new version of bing and the navigate button for turn by turn directions works....I just didn;t like it so I went back to previous version.

I'm having problems with MMS/SMS with the latest release. Even after I put in settings for Verizon as indicated here it will send all SMS as MMS messages. Pretty strange. Can I request that the proper settings be "baked in" with the next update?

Ok, figured it out. You can send MMS messages from the photos and videos tab but you can't attach them from the HTC messages menu. If you try to attach and send it will say message could not be sent. Regular SMS messages work fine. Again, weird..

After using this ROM for awhile now I agree with others that commented on the HTC messenger. I also had some problems with the camera/video, I was getting out of memory messages when trying to run the video recorder. There was nothing else running in the background and had to soft reset. Small glitches, but a great ROM overall.
