Four days now and 1.9 Plain still running fast and smooth. Not a single problem.

I guess you mean the Footprints tab correct?

The Footprints tab uses footcam.exe which is a "camera" software to create "gps photos" (photos with gps information). That software does not work on Imagio (made for the HD2 camera)....however we made a workaround... (The following works with MyCleanImagio, I'm not sure about other roms...)

1-)First, make sure QuickGPS is updated (help to get an easy/fast gps fix).
2-)Go to the footprints tab, press Menu, New. (a mortscript will run and start your camera on GPS Mode)
3-)Take the picture you want....exit the camera software
4-)Open the Album (Multimedia Folder), select your picture...
5-)While on fullscreen viewing the picture... tap, then select menu (icon on far right), then select "Set as Footprints"..
6-) The Footprints software will open....you will edit the info ...(name, notes, etc..), then press done...

Then just go to the footprints tab... your new one should be there...
(Use the Footprints software to export your footprints... so you can import them back when flashing a new rom, or after a hard-reset... It will be saved at your storage card, folder Footprints...)...
The tab does not run as fast as on the HD2, but its kind of fun to have it... (I have quite a few footprints on mine! lol)

hey adortab.. i think you touched on this before but i got a question for you.. im looking to flash to your rom tonight and give it a good 2 week run.. i want light verizon... i cant decide between customized or plain. I love colors and customization (im running the energy rom now) but i see you put that the plain is faster. is it that much faster????

It depends on what you call faster... what I meant, is that since it does not have all tabs on manila, it runs smoother comparing Plain Verizon and CB Verizon... (my perception of fast is how smooth manila runs in this case...) should be no difference between Plain and Light Verizon...(they both dont have Reader, Footprints, DocExplorer)
Both roms share the same "core" ... may not notice any difference on any software . The version with CHT 1.6.1, seems even "faster" for me... lol...

About colors, etc... hopefully tonight I'll finish a few other options for themes and will post at the cab repository... (two taskbars there as well...I know you might have yours already...)

thank you. the first thing i do is disable stocks, footprints, etc... is disabling them just as good or is plain faster because there not even in the rom?

That's a nice question, I guess it might make them as good as the plain one... since they are not loaded....

Number of files on the phone seems to not make difference for me... my work phone has only 50mb free... and runs great... I like it a lot... (1.9 CB Others with all tabs enabled, a little over 200 emails, about 300sms, 35 footprints, few videos/movies, a lot programs that maybe I dont even need... etc.....), what really seems to make a difference for me is the number of files/programs running/loaded at the same time..and that depends on how you setup your phone running the programs you like...

i dont run many at a time.. here is the main draw....

i love rss hub for feed. i also like certain podcast. soooo i open rss. refresh the podcast i like. open it. which opens windows media player. while the audio podcast runs in the background i continue to browse my feeds and occasionally click on links that will fire up opera. I find that the combo of opera/windows media player/ rss hub is a KILLER on the memory. am i doing something wrong? nothing else is running

I really don't know if you are doing anything wrong.. but just fyi on 1.9, when you close opera, it will remove itself from memory and not stay "loaded" like on 1.8... good luck.. and hopefully it will work for you, the same way it does work for me and a few others... and the most important enjoy your phone... (Imagio may not be the best/fastest... but its freaking nice! lol)
