Thanks. Was thinking the hotmail stuff may be due to the Windows Live in 23554 sys. So you just need to update through market. I'll remove it in future builds and users that want it can download through market. MyPhone should be current though cooling.

I've also noticed that pressing and holding X actually does close some programs that normally might just minimize. For example, sometimes when I go into the Comm Manager and just hit X and it is still running in Showcase. But, if I press and hold X it isn't running in Showcase.

Yes with showcase for most but not all apps pressing and holding "X" till vibrate will fully close it.

Hey Doc- have you tried the newest version of Arkswitch (V.1.1.4). It never locks up on me. Just wondering bc I really like it.

No sure haven't I've seen it reportedly cause some issues for other chefs though.

Strange behavior in both RC1 and RC1.1:

Flash the ROM go through all the hoops. Battery out, battery in, reflash etc.

then *228 option 1
then connect to Exchange

All works fine until, I try and go back in and tell outlook to pull all messages from exchange, not just the last 3 days. I only have 80 or so messages to pull, so not a lot to pull.

Here is the issue - when I try and get out after making the change
and say "finish" it hangs.

If I get back to the home screen - everything works fine until I reboot and I get a solid red line across the bottom of the phone -- and then after locking -- I get a solid white screeen.

I have tried about everything -- it is 100% connected to adjusting outlook to pull all messages.

Showcase opening "slowly" is an understatement lol!
About an hour after my last message, I was in a meeting, I glance down at my phone and showcase was opening up! lol! wow. Not only that, windows live finally connected and my hotmail was set up too. All seems well now 2+ hours later.

Hmm I use exchange too but only have it pull last 3 days I'll test it. Nothing has changed exchange-wise since alpha releases.

Flashed with RC 1.1, looking good to me! I really appreciate the change in the UI drpodown/progress green to something darker, I really hope others do as well Everything I use is working perfectly fine out of the box thus far.

Since I always seem to have some minor thing to mention ... I've noticed that with all the 6.5.x ROMs, you have to "assert yourself" on buttons moreso than I remember with the stock ROM. For example, a quick tap on a button may not register, and a second more assertive tap will. Is there some system setting for WinMo that determines how long a button must be pressed for it to register? My completely uneducated theory is that 6.5.x and Sense 2.5 may be set up for a capacitive screen rather than the resistive one we have. I seem to never have an issue if I use the stylus, for example. While it's (to me) seemingly different than stock, I'm not sure if it's good or bad, to be honest, though. It can be annoying, but also prevents misclicks with the finger. If I am imagining it, or nothing can be done, I'm absolutely cool with it as-is. Just pointing out pretty much the only little thing left I can find that might even remotely be considered as a flaw with this ROM.

Oh, and I noticed with RC1 and RC1.1 that when you're typing in passwords you see the characters in the text box briefly before they change to an asterisk. If that was on purpose ... AWESOME. I also don't have to change Notification tone/vibrate settings anymore they match stock, so again, if that was on purpose ... AWESOME !! <shakes your hand>

I have to say each Rom gets better!!! RC1.1 is fast and smooth.

Its trivial things that drive me crazy. I likes me custom taskbars and each one that I have loaded breaks the volume control, well i found a fix. I placed the icons i like into a HTCVolumeControl.dll that works with RC1.1 and preserves the htc volume controls. Probably no one cares, hehe. Of all places, i found the dll in the Android taskbar forums in xda. I will post the blank HTCVolumeControl.dll and anyone can take it and put the icons they like into it. I hope I'm not the only one that this was bugging =D>. BTW the dll is already unsigned.
