8135 from cingular
My house mate had a buddy over the other night. He had a 8135 from cingular. He was complaining about the sms sent notification.
Me, thinking I am pretty cool went to install total commander and the smsnomsgsent.cab file on his phone from my memory card. Ha. Nope, did not work. Could not find the progs on my card when it was in his phone. Now they are missing from my card even when it is in my phone. No big deal, I still have the install files on my pc. Anyway, now none of the saftware installed on the card works. I get an error that says "The file 'cecmd' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found You might need to reinstall or restore the file." (total commander) or any software installed on the card. I know the file is there, I can use file explorer to go to my mem card, and run it directly from there. Just not through the start menu. Any ideas? |
i wouldnt touch that one with a 15' wooden stick....ehheh
i thinks is probably referring to the autostart file, if you have memaid just go in and remove it from the auto-start list....maybe that is the problem... are you able to run total commander at all? |
I can run any of the software on the card if I use file explorer to go to the card and click on the file through file explorer.
I get that same error message except the 'cecmd' is changed to whatever app I am trying to run, when I try to start it through the start menu. If I try to start the app through the recent programs absolutely nothing happens. Thrilsekr Had to edit because: spill a wurd rong and i git s*** insted of wut i tryd to spelt |
hehe swear filter got ya ;) yea looks like when u tried to run it from his phone, is causing the error. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. I would just leave the .cab on ur minisd and run the .cab on the wizard, to install to that device instead of trying to run the actual program from the minisd without installing.
