If while using the browser you receive the message that you need to add mobile web for $5 you have a problem with your account, call cricket or go to a cricket dealer and have the WAP refreshed not just the account but the WAP feature. This may take a couple of trys with cricket, dealers usually can get it done better because they actually know what to do and cricket reps are brain dead.

Well, I've been jumping around a bit. (On this phone, and others.)
I've been ignoring the gps issue, and concentrating on the video issue.
I downloaded the youtube app from here which got youtube to launch from the browser widget! It downloads and gives me several videos to choose from. But when I select one, a player screen runs with connecting, and then times out. I get a connection error.
I took a look at the settings somewhere (maybe registry) for the app, and the wap connection looks right. I'm wondering if it might be an error connecting to a system player or something? I was playing around with the tcpmp on the phone (tried re-installing) and selecting defaults.
BTW I did try the youtube fix cab as well.
Anyway, I'm really trying to get the player to launch internal videos when I click play. I'll keep at it!

yeah about that, i cant seem to install a WAP cab on my phone?

all the ones i tried wont install and ive restarted the phone a million times no dice. is there a way to do the wap mannualy or just take it in to a store and have up refresh it?

ok, just did the refresh and everything works, but the built in email

Google Maps, But no GPS,(will iron that out later) MS weather, Texting, Picture and Video message

should i just use the yahoo email app

Unless you have the HTML data plan or use proxycap you won't be able to use the email.
Side note*
Gmail has an exchange server that you can set up through the active sync.

Have you tried to use one of the security lifter cabs first. Also what ROM are you using.

got the wap to install after a while, and i have the 50 a month cricket plan

unlimted web,text,video,call,picture,long distance,data-backup,data default
and so on

Cell phone and landlines are different.
On cell phones you will only see the number unless the name is in stored with the number in the phone. I seriously thought this was common knowledge.
There is only one carrier that I know of that has ever provided a complete CNAM receiving and that was Metro PCS. I don't believe they offer it anymore. But just for info sakes, it is network dependent because the device has the full ability.

I cant get email (ota) with ProxyCap. Do you know how to set it up?
Can you share the settings n rules?
