Rotate Screen
Does anyone know where the I can find the application file to rotate the screen from portrait to landscape and vice versa on the HTC Touch?
I am trying to find the exe or ink file so I can add the function to an icon on one of my ifonz pages. The Rotate screen buttons is found on the Settings/System/Screen page but I can't figure out where the file is that it activates. It has eluded me thus far. http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...s/confused.gif |
Re: Rotate Screen
I suggest you go from the start menu to settings/personal/buttons and set the camera button on the side so when you push it fast it rotates the screen and when you push and hold it activates the camera. That way you don't have to go back to your home screen or wherever you put a software icon/button to rotate the screen. One press does it. :)

Re: Rotate Screen
Not possible. The only assignments I can make to the camera button found in Setting/Personal/Buttons are actual programs, not functions.
That is why I am trying to find out how the device rotates from the button found in Settings/System/Screen. |

Also, make sure that you are selecting the correct button. Button 2 I believe. The default setting is voice command. Power button can't be made to do this but camera button can. Trust me it works.:)

Works like a charm. I really appreciate the help. How does the phone do that anyway? Does it use an exe or batch file? Cant figure out what the command is that switches it. Take care.=D> |
