This is actually the same problem I had that made me need to get mine fixed. Unless you have the total equipment plan if you are on Sprint, they do not replace the phone for free because of this problem. I took mine into a service center and they told me they could do nothing for me but lift up the digitizer and try to clean out the moisture. In fact the guy at the service center really effed up my phone...

I pay 5 bucks a month for insurance and this problem did not fall under the plan. So, as I said before, you can get a digitizer on ebay for like $15 and replace it yourself, there is an easy guide I can send you if you PM me to take the phone apart.

Thanks, I got the total protection ($7 a month). So I won't be trying to take it apart. Hopefully they don't F-up my phone. I had a diamond when I swapped out my mogul before they were giving touch pros and hated it. The vogue does just what I need :).

The Vogue is one of those unique products where its replacements are not necessarily more desirable. You can't say that of too many tech products these days!

im shocked how many vogues sprint still has to give out as replacements? i see even a few carriers still sell these phones. this thing is over 2 years old now. :???:

My brother got a vogue to replace the one he lost. After setting it up for me though, it sure made me envious of the scroll speed and battery life that it has over my TP.

If you are comfortable taking it apart or if it's out of warranty you can actually replace the digitizer. It's not very hard but would void any warranty you have left on the phone.

My dog got my vogue in her mouth and chomped down cracking the LCD panel. I went to a local used site similar to craiglist (usedottawa.com) and put a wanted add for a broken Vogue. Someone replied and I salvaged the LCD from it to save my vogue. Cost me $30CAD. Now that I have my Touch pro my Vogue is largely used as a planner and GPS device. I can't bring myself to sell it. She was my very first smart phone. I still love her even though we have grown apart.

my wife has a vogue. the screen/case is acting funny, so i started to put in a claim. however, the phone is still working fine otherwise, so we haven't completed it. In any case, ausurion is saying that they are replacing starcomm 6900 with starcomm 6900. We are with sprint.

hey I just read through here and no one gives a definite answer as to if assurion is replacing the vogue with the vogue? Someone said it was with the diamond and the latest post said they were going to replace it with a vogue, which one is it guys? It would be greatly appreciated to get a straight answer on this one.
