Man, that looks really really nice but Im itchin for a bigger screen and I dont think I would want to go back to QVGA.
And I didnt see a 3.5mm jack. But overall appearance of the phone is prolly the best Iv seen.

Umm, to the people wishing for the Touch2 but with a bigger/higher-res screen, wouldn't that be called a Diamond2? Just a thought...

Yes and no, I like the actual physical appearance of the touch2 much better than the Diamond2.
But if I had to choose I would take the bigger higher resolution screen.

Yeah, on their site they say "You dont need a big phone" or something similar.
To be entirely honest, I would be more then happy for a larger hi res screen.

Question can the future qvga port of the Touch2's manilla be used on vga devices, ie: touch pro?

The touch2's manila is already out, its manila 2.1

The touch 2 was codenamed the Mega.
I believe calkulin has a VGA version coming to his diamond rom.

that looks nice but did they really stick with a QVGA resolution? The only knock I have on my Touch is the screen resolution, everything else is perfect

I could go for this one. I like the Diamond2 but I'm betting this one will be much less! Specs are almost perfect,
(-) for camera and also screen res
(+) for wifi, processor and 3.5 jack!!!
