How to make my touch start faster
 

I have the Sprint touch with original ROM,It takes forever to start up, is there a way to make the phone start faster?

I don't think there is much one can do to speed up start up. During start up its loading all os and other programs and set up. unless you are resetting for another reason other then to free up RAM memory, I would suggest using a program called Cleanram. This is a nice lil program to free memory up without having to reset. you can find it at this link with more detailed info.

When ever I need to use the GPS, I need to resart or sometimes change the com port.

+1 for cleanRam great app!The only things you can do to increase startup time would be to remove unnecessary itms from windows/startup using file explorer or edit out things in the registry using a reg editor that are loaded and started at startup. I removed the cube completely and that sped up things quite a bit.CleanRam gives you the capability to clear out and halt unresponding programs. If you use the level 2 or 3 setting it is basically like doing a soft reset. It will also help problems with gps too. I have found if I am having trouble getting a lock I exit the app and run cleanRam even on just a level 1 clean and then go back into the gps app and I can usually get a lock within a few seconds.
