Connecting to a PC -- with no data charges?
 

What I want to do is connect my phone so I can transfer media onto it [[like music]] and to use it like a flash drive. Is there any way to do this without incurring any kind of data fee? I don't have it on my plan and, since my parents foot the bill and not me, I can't use data under any circumstance. Does anyone know a way to do this?

You can do this with just a normal active sync as long as your just using the usb or bluetooth. It should only cost your data plan if your trying to connect wirelessly. You may have to upgrade to a custom rom but when you plug your phone in, it might have a menu for this option.

You ain't using it? Man, get with the program!! no2chem's stuff is all great!
I use just about all his OEMS in my ROMs, but the cab versions are great if you didn't build 'em in.
