Need Help, looking for a 6900 Expert.

Hi,

I have an old Sprint Touch 6900, i'm not longer with sprint so I decided to give this device to my dougther. I flashed this phone to MetroPCS and is working fine, I do have Voice and Text only. (no Data)

This is the deal, I want to remove all the software from the phone, I just want to keep the stuff she will use. Music, Windows Media, Camera, pic Gallery, and the SMS. all the rest I would like to remove. I even want the internet conection removed from it.

The problem I have is that the phone is loaded with sprint TV, sprint music store, etc... (this features are too heavy to funtion with the metropcs network) and everytime something is clicked by mistake all this network searching starts.

I also need the touch flow cubes and main screen to have shortcuts to the funtions of the phone (Music, Video, SMS) no need for weather, email, etc.

I'm located in Miami, FL and willing to ship the phone if we come to an agreeement.

Please advise.Thanks.

You can do what you want to do yourself. You can uninstall/remove any program/app you want through remove programs or file explorer. As far as the cube you can download the cube configuration tool from the sticky in the first part of this forum and remap buttons to open certain apps. You can also disable or remove the cube altogether with a couple easy reg edits. I say do it yourself cause you can get it done faster than sending it to someone. But, if you still don't want to I could do it. I wouldn't charge you anything just maybe the shipping to send it back. Good Luck! :)

so you think I can erase all the sprint default programming? I'd try that via add/remove software and also via file explorer with no luck.

I think U can do that by hard sertting ur phone then not allowing customization to run. Coz it will install carrier cabs

Well, you can certainly erase most of it using file explorer. At least enough that those apps won't work. You could do a hard reset as the previous poster said and soft reset before customizations run but you are going to loose anything that you might want to keep. Seems to be overkill.
