Flashing Vogue with Titan ROMS
 

The development community for the Titan (verizon's XV6800) is a lot broader than the one for the Vogue (verizon's XV6900), and I understand they use the same radio roms, and have all the same internal hardware, except the Vogue just has more RAM.

If this is the case, then can I flash a XV6800 ROM to my XV6900? If so, I should use the HardSPL as if it is a XV6800 right?

Can anyone answer this who has actually tried it. I believe it will work fine, yet I would like to hear from someone who has done it rather than just speculation and negative/doubt comments.

Sorry, this is off your topic, but I noticed that you are using TomTom. I have the same version but never could quite get it to work... any tips?

This may seem picky, but please PM me that request, so we don't discuss it here in the thread, since I really still am waiting for someone to tell me if Titan roms will work with the Vogue - I'm about to try it myself if I dont get any responses

In short, it won't work. Sure the devices are similar, but the hardware is very different. Even if you manage to get the RUU to work you might wind up bricking your phone.
