txting problem
i just activated the xv6900 using the pay per KB plan, then i blocked internet data usage and download applications. now when i send txts over 20-40 characters people never recieve them. i never tried txting before establishing the blocks but im assuming thats the problem. does this phone use the internet connection to send txts? therefore using data? and could it be that sending a txt with more characters makes the txt to large and keeps the people im sending it to from recieving it?
any help is appreciated, thanks. |
Re: txting problem
Text messages do not use data. I'm not sure why you're experiencing this problem. Are you on a custom ROM, or stock?

Re: txting problem
Try flashing the official verizon rom....maybe that will fix it

Re: txting problem
But DONT let the customizations run. You'll just have to go through a ton of crap later if you do.

Re: txting problem
Wait if it's the verizon rom why not run customs? Does it cause verizon to screw up?
|
Re: txting problem
No, but various features get locked down, such as GPS. and letting customizations really only installs some .cab files that really aren't necessary to begin with.
