1. My phone's too smart from her; that's pretty much straight from her mouth. 2. I like being able to do things and not be tied to the phone. With texting, I can say something and get an answer and read and reply when I get the chance. With phone calls, I can't concentrate properly on what I'm doing. In my case, I'm usually doing something computer related, where concentration's extremely important. |

Re: Way to remove 160 char. limit on texts?
Link, I know what you are talking about. With Text messages, globally, the limit is 160 characters.
Now, If you are texting someone(*with a dumbphone) with Verizon, and your message goes over the limit, they will receive it all together, because it is the same network. If you are texting someone that doesn't have Verizon, they will either receive your message in parts, or only the first 160 characters. The reason that you have been allowed to send text's with a 1000 maximum limit is because at that point the text is sent as a picture message, where the message has a limit of, I believe, 399kb. I haven't tested this, but I think your problem can be fixed by typing your message in a picture message, and don't attach anything. But other than that, I have no Idea why Windows Mobile devices do the "Media Objects Removed" thing. Good luck with this. :) EDIT: Here is my theory on this issue: TO:----------From:---------Protocall WINMO----- "Verizon OS"--- Splits Text WINMO------ WINMO--------Stays as one Text "Verizon OS"--"Verizon OS"---Stays as one Text ...and so forth... |
