Keyboard problem...help!
 

Have a touch w/ stock uscc rom installed. Downloaded full screen keyboard because stock one sucks. Works great, but when I am replying to a text it wont let me use the new keyboard. What am I missing?

You probably need an app called sip change.
You should find it if you search on here. Look in commonly requested apps.
What keyboard are you using?
I like fingerkeyboard myself.

that isnt it i tried that. i cant get the right custom keyboard only when replying to text. the keyboard that shows up is the one where u have to click a key 2 or 3 times to get the right letter. sip change didnt fix that

there's another sipchange type program,
I'll see if I can find it.
but are you sure you chose the right keyboard in sipchange,
and saved it? and then did a soft reset?
if you didn't do a soft reset it woulldnt have worked.

Did you change the delay on SIPChange? On mine using FK I need 30 for it to take effect. Cody is right about the reset as well.

well what i do with my Spb keyboard is map it to the camera button and replace the press and hold to the camera.

So when i want to reply or text i just press the camera button once and it comes up for me to text.

Change the button maping in settings/personal/buttons
