internet sharing app to connect to vista laptop?
i know there is a way to do it but i can't find it... I have my verizon htc touch/vogue with windows mobile 6.1 installed. i have the internet on the phone itself... how do i share that data with my laptop?

You don't need an app vista should already have mobile device center to sync.
In order to do internet sharing you have to add phone as modem service to your plan. There is another way to do internet sharing without getting charged but you will have to search on here for that. |

Try pda.net or Wmwifirouter.
Try this: What this does is when you plug in your phone with a usb cable, it will pop up a screen(if you install the usb to pc pop up), and it will give you three options, One, Activesync, (Obviously this establishes a activesync connection) Two, Disk Drive, (View items on storage card as a flash drive) Three, Internet sharing. (Use phone as internet modem) Attached are the cabs. USB to PC is the program that allows you to do this, and the USB2PC popup is obviously the installer for the popup screen when you plug in the usb cable. |
