Who has Pandora running on 6.5 and what ROM?

Like the title says, this is my most used app on my phone and I am about to go back to 6.1. It will connect to my station, but never play anything and give me a network communication error. I am on Manila ROM WinMo6.5_build21501 currently. Any help or tips welcome. I have read that it does work for some people and doesnt for others. The author of that ROM just said it does not work on 6.5.

Never been much of a fan of Pandora. Have you tried the LastFM app? It's not pretty but it works and you don't have to click the screen every 6 songs?

I really like Pandora... Ive been on it since early 2007. Hate Jango. I will give lastfm a shot.

other people had the same problem. installing pandora on the memory card instead of the device seemed to fix it

Had it installed to the device, tried the sd card. It seems to load a bit quicker but still the network error, will keep playing. Keep the advice coming.

Strange, it should work 100% on the sdcard and not the device.
It just won't run from the device for some reason.

Lastfm > Pandora.
Not as pretty of a program,
since pandora will sue lastfm
if they make their own program for windows mobile.
(pandora has a contract with microsoft)

I would suggest trying to uninstall and reinstall the program to the sdcard.
Also, is your sdcard formated to fat32? I think that was one of the requirements for it to work aswell.

Not sure about the whole Pandora suing anyone let alone a contract with Microsoft but if you read the article just posted over on SLASHDOT.ORG Microsoft just inked a deal with Last.FM for the XBox360/Marketplace making it available via Microsoft themselves - so Im pretty sure its safe to say it'll be around for a bit (maybe assimilated by Bill-Gateus of Borg himself but available anyway)

Not sure what my sd card is formatted to. Its sad to say the one that came with the phone since I stream all my music I really don't need much storage. I will check and see later.

Oh and Last is pretty cool, it's just always cool to have a backup if I do decide last is my new favorite.
